A la hora de publicitarse en Internet, la mayoría de las personas envían mensajes a todo el mundo, y aunque en el marketing tradicional esto ha funcionado por años, en Internet todo está cambiando.

Te a pasado que cuando llegas a Youtube a ver un video, te salen videos similares, o cuando haces una compra en Mercado Libre, Ebay, Amazon, etc. Te muestran productos que van relacionados con lo que estuviste buscando o comprando. Y bueno, esto está en todo lado…

El otro día 2 amigos estaban chateando por WhatsApp, el uno le preguntaba a otro si conocía un «buen Hotel» en Las Vegas, e instantes después, a uno le salio una publicidad en Facebook con «La mejor opción de hospedaje en Las Vegas»

Esto sucede por una razón y se llama «Segmentación por intereses».

¿Qués es la segmentación por intereses?
Es simplemente mostrar información relevante a la persona que está navegando por Internet, es decir, si en Facebook sigues páginas de entrenamiento para perros, haz compartido alguna publicación o incluso, te quedas mirando un vídeo de este tema, Facebook te va a registrar en una lista y luego te va a mostrar, información, vídeos y hasta publicidad con respecto a entrenamiento de perros.

¿Esto tiene algún poder?
Tu mismo puedes responder a esta pregunta…
Si te apasiona algún tema y Facebook te muestra contenido de ese tema, seguro que te emocionas y ellos están haciendo bien su trabajo, al lograr que tu experiencia dentro de la plataforma sea placentera, además, están ayudando a las personas que compran publicidad a tener personas interesadas en ese tema.

¿Google y otros buscadores utilizan esto de alguna manera?
Cuando tu subes algún tipo de contenido a Internet, un video, una publicación o una página web, Google va a evaluar tu contenido y va a revisar que tan útil es para la persona que busca, si volvemos al tema de entrenamiento para perros, y tú tienes un blog sobre este tema, Google va a medir el comportamiento de las personas en tu página y finalmente va a saber si eres o no la mejor opción para mostrar en su lista de resultados, cuando alguien busca algo como «Como entrenar a mi perro».

Es decir, si tu entregas información útil a alguien que busca sobre ese tema, vas a adelantarte a tu competencia.

¿Por donde comenzar?
El primer paso para poder tener impacto ultra positivo es saber a quien te diriges con exactitud. Puedes crear un personaje ficticio, ponerle un nombre, edad, si tiene familia o no, en que trabaja, intereses y gustos, etc.
Al ponerle un nombre, saber sus intereses e inclusive, detalles de su vida, vas a poder conectar efectivamente y vas a llegar más fácilmente.

Este ejercicio tan sencillo pero poderoso te va a diferenciar.

Esto no solo es útil en Internet, es útil en todo lado, si tu sabes donde encontrar a la persona ideal y llegas con un mensaje que solucione algo en su vida, GANAS!!!!
